Maybe it's a placebo effect but I'm able to see 3D in that with just red/cyan glasses. Interesting.
So, from the looks of it, this is anaglyph, but with amber/blue instead of red/blue then correct? _________________ -Charlie Rosenberg

I tried it, and I'm not sure either...but looking through just the red, it gets rid of the blue & yellow, looking through the blue doesn't get rid of either...but it is not intended to be looked at with cyan/red.
It does look like amber/blue Anaglyph to me too...but they say you get more color with this, although I would think you would still loose blue & amber color, but perhaps those colors trick the eye somehow to look for the missing color in the other eye ...I'll have to get some of the glasses...but it will probably be a couple weeks.

They cannot be serious? - Cough... B*******... Cough cough!
not necessarily since it's passive the eyestrain may be reduced. Though haven't experienced it (I think few people have) so no idea about ghosting and color quality.

I read this post two weeks ago and decided to purchase some colorcode3d glasses from Denmark. They arrived today. I must say they are awesome. I normally use shutter glasses with a projector setup. But have been testing a lot of different techniques. I read their patents and the technique made sense. A similar technique was invented by Dr. Monte Ramstad but focuses on the far red color spectrum. You can see an explanation at his sight on how it works: http://www.eclipse-3d.com/technology.html. The biggest problem with the technique is having appropriate filters. ColorCode3D uses a amber filter on the left eye to partially block blue and the blue filter to block red (very well) and green. With the amber color you get a full color image and the blue is monochrome. When put together you get a near full color image.
Visually it is major step up from Anaglyph. The blue filter does not create as much retinal rivalry as red in Anaglyph and by increasing the brightness of the blue filter digitally you can eliminate it all together.
Producing amber/blue glyphs in Photoshop are pretty easy. I created two today and it looked great.
As a more interesting test I was also able to use Nvidia's advanced stereo setup to change the Anaglyph colors to Yellow (r255,g255,b0) for the left eye and Blue (r0,g0,b255) for the right. I now can view all my 3D programs that are supported by the driver in ColorCode3D. There is very minor ghosting especially when viewing at a high resolution.
I think Iz3d can easily and should implement ColorCode3D into the next driver version by simply adding the option to change the L/R colors for anaglyph as the Nvidia stereo drivers do. This will also be beneficial for people using Anaglyph who want to correct the colors according to the calibration of their display.

If anyone wants to tryout ColorCode3D I found a free demo page where they ship you 2 pairs of glasses for free. (I purchased a pack of 4 for 6euro)

Yeah, thanks for the link!
I would be willing to purchase the new iZ3D drivers if this was included. Anaglyph really is pretty ugly but this looks promising.
