Quote: If this week test will be ok - then we can go to external beta
So finally the new glasses are in sight, right before christmas!
Do you have an idea how exactly the external beta test will be accomplished and what people are qualified as external testers (beside me )?

Hi, Tinker!
rotating lenses is a part of technology changes - but simple rotation will help only for certain wavelength, but can increase ghosting for others
Hi, Nobsi!
We did not decide yet - in progress - but we want to have enough statistic. _________________ Who is John Galt?

I would love to test if the new glasses work better than the previous ones. I use my iz3d for 2d only at the moment. There always was too much ghosting to even see 3D. I use my home made planar3d at the moment with the exelent iz3d drivers, I would love to be able to use my iz3d as well. I've paid the full price for it when it just came out. maybe we should get these new glasses for free if they work?

I guess the test team is complete by now.
Do you have plans when to ship the glasses. Is it still possible that they will arrive right before christmas?

I'm happy to see that the 50 testers have been selected (and of course that I found my alias in the list though I did not get any confirmation PM)
Now the big question is, when wil the glasses be shipped to the testers. Is this directly done by the asian manufacturer or must they first be shipped to Russia or the US and than are repacked and again shipped to the testers?
Or maybe you can hire Santa, so we get it right on christmas?

it is better to hire Santa than make custom clearance in Russia - otherwise you'll get it for X-Mas.... of 2009 )
we are expecting batch from Taiwan to US first and then send everything out from our US office. _________________ Who is John Galt?

Will go from Taiwan to US on Friday. It would be easier to ship them out from US office. _________________ Who is John Galt?

What a pity, the glasses would have been my favorite cristmas gift. Now it looks they will arrive when my vacation is over.
Never mind, as a 3D enthusiast there is one lesson you have to learn: Patience (I'm still improving it )
So what remains to say: I wish BlackQ and the whole iZ3D team a Merry Christmas and thank you for your hard work and always having an answer to all our annoying and silly questions!
