Hi, cybereality!

My congratulation! You are the first in this section! BTW, I've visited Zalman office on Friday in Seoul - met their CEO face to face - great company! We like to be partners with them.

Prowd owner of a 22" Zalman monitor since 2009. A great little display that I still use today.
Not the best image quality but the compatibility and versatility wins over all the issues. This monitor is compatible with everything and it's cheap so it's got my vote.

Thanks Zalman for such a great product.

I never owned the old Zalman monitor but own the new 21.5 inch monitor since last week. I has been a pleasure using this monitor.

Things I love are
1. Very minimal to zero ghosting in 3D. RE5, Avartar, flatout just blows my mind. I also own Nvidia 3D vision but my heart is with IZ3D + Zalman solution.
2. it requires only 1 connection. I need second connection for my dual monitor setup for touch screen.
3. Fantastic 2D quality in Full HD.

I have no success using the latest nvidia stereo driver for Zalman on this monitor but I highly recommand it.

Hi Igsoft,

Did you order your 21.5 Zalman online? If so where did you get it? I've been considering one of the newer HD Zalman monitors. I heard from a couple others on MTBS3D that it has far less ghosting compared to IZ3D and 3D Vision.

I think 22" is far too small to truly experience the wonders of 3D. I'm waiting for larger monitors to hit the market before I make a purchase.

Hi at all,

please excuse me for my poor English. Embarassed

I use the Zalman zm-m240w 24'' 3D-monitor since yesterday. I'm fascinated! The 3D-examples on the disk wich come with the zm-m240w are extraordinary, the 3D-effect is undescribable. My monitor come also with a "3D-Gaming-Driver"-disk and with a iz3d-Code. Very Happy Unfortunately I have a problem with register of the license for Zalman output.

My user and password are OK, I clicked at "Order" and the iz3d website wait for my machine-ID an Site code. But I cant'get the both. In iz3d control desk unter "Help" if I hold the left ctrl-key and click on the iz3d-symbol (dynamic test), I get "Can't find stereoscopic device" displayed and the dynamic test run only in 2D. No window with machine-ID or Site-Code Sad

I'm very unhappy. Can you help me?

Sorry for my poorest English again! Embarassed And thank you for every help!

Best Regards:

jenoe

Hi!
Be sure that you have your displaydriver set to "extend desktop on the frontpanel".
About the left click control and not seeing the activation info i actually have the same phenomena (3d works though). Don't know what's going on here and the version is 1.10 with win7-32 and gf7900gtx...

Hi,

thanks for your Reply! The major difference between yours and my config is, that my video card is ATI and yours NVidia. NVidia has a own 3D-Driver, ATI not. I have not such a parameter with the frontpanel in my catalyst driver.

Even though thanks a lot!

Best Regards

The iz3d driver is graphiccard independant. You just need to configure your displaydriver so programs have access to both panels. In other words not single or clonemodes.

Jenoe:
What happens if you try the dynamic test WITHOUT holding ctrl? Does it still say it can't find the device?

Hi at all,

I have found and solved the problem - the Zalman zm-m240w ist great! It is awesome! I'm very very happy!!

The problem was the iz3d 1.11B2 driver. I installed this, because support directX10. But it haven't "full installation" mode, only anaglyph, iz3d and DLP 120 Hz for ATI video cards.

I have uninstall the 1.11B2, install the 1.10 full, start the driver console, select the "Zalman"-mode. The dynamic test was OK!! I got my machine-ID and Site code immediatelly. I activated my Zalman-bounded license - thank you very match, Zalman!! - and enjoy the games.

Oh, my God! Crysis in 3D is awesome! Also Sherlock Holmes vs. Arsйne Lupin, Oblivion the Edler Scrolls or Call of Juarez. The Zalman Monitor is worth every penny!!!

I bought the zm-m240w for 440,-Ђ bounded with free iz3d license.

I thank for your Help. My ticket can be closed. I must go to play in 3D now! Smile

Best Regards:

The fact that there is no ghosting is what sold it for me. I've ordered a Zalman as a result.

When the Zalman 24" version comes online the 22" version will drop in price. What if you purchased 3 x 22" monitors and used them for FSX or other flying/racing sims in 3D? Would such a setup allow for full 3D or do you need to sit directly in front of the monitor for it to work?
