hi! polarized glasses (like in your image) work only if you have a 3d display like iz3d or zalman. You can use the drivers you downloaded for anaglyph (red/cyan) or colorcode glasses that you can get online for free or for almost free (some sites require you send em an envelope with a stamp and they send you the glasses back) _________________ Guig2000 is a dude not a playmate

That screen you have is only compatible with anaglyph.
If you want to use an other mode you have to change screen.
You cannot use any 3D screen with any glasses. Each 3D screen currently uses it's own type of glasses technology. _________________ Intel Core i5-750, 4GB RAM, HD7970, Win7-64bit

So, if I have an ATI radeon card AND a polarising monitor AND a pair of polarising glasses, the normal IZ3D and the ATI radeon option are the same, am I right?

nope - the ATI radeon option is for 3D DLP tv's + shutters _________________ Guig2000 is a dude not a playmate

3D DLP TV output in iZ3D driver is made for 3D DLP TVs (from Mitsubishi and Samsung). These TVs used flipping checkerboard input and require shutter (not polarized) glasses to see 3D. For owners of ATI graphics card this output is free. _________________ Who is John Galt?

Okay. Last question: If I buy a polarising monitor that is not from IZ3D, will I have to buy a monthly fee to get it to work with the IZ3D driver?
depends on if iz3d has an output for that particular monitor. All output licenses cost 50$ (one time payement, future version updates are free)- if you meant Zalman 3d monitors then you need the interlaced output license. _________________ Guig2000 is a dude not a playmate

Very well, and if I buy an IZ3D monitor I don't have to pay this 50 dollar, so I save 50 dollar if I want to play 3D. Thank you very much for your answers.

Correct, the iZ3D Output is free if you have our monitor.
And to clarify, the $50 is a one time payment for each other output. _________________ -Charlie Rosenberg
